27 Sep 2004 >> BRIAN, KERRY IN LOVE CRISIS
POP star Brian McFadden is battling to save his marriage after a series of rows with wife Kerry.

The chart-topping singer flew home from a tour date at the weekend for crisis talks.

Angry Kerry is fed up with not seeing Brian, 24, because of his hectic touring schedule. (Read More ...)

27 Sep 2004 >> McFaddens in split
Kerry and Brian McFadden have split after less than three years of marriage.
It's believed the pair have seen each other just twice in the last two months.
The Daily Star says that Kerry hasn't forgiven her husband for a one-night stand with a lap-dancer on his stag night in October 2001.
Their publicist Max Clifford said: "It may have been nothing more than a drunken frolic blown out of proportion, but it's added to the strain.
"Trust is a hugely important quality. Particularly for someone like Kerry, who is a very vulnerable girl who wears her heart on her sleeve."
Mr Clifford said he was trying to get the two to meet up and talk, but the split was for good. "The chances of getting this sorted out? Having had lengthy conversations with them, if I was a betting man I would be betting against it."
Kerry, who won ITV's I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here, was at her mother's home in Warrington at the weekend. The paper says she has enrolled the couple's two children in local schools.
Brian, who left Irish band Westlife earlier this year, was playing soccer in Dublin for his local team.
Mr Clifford added: "They are victims of their own success."
He said there was no third party involved and rubbished rumours that Brian Mc Fadden was dating Australian singer Delta Goodrem.

24 Sep 2004 >> THE RAZZ: WHY NICKY'S IRISH EYES ARE SMILING
WESTLIFE'S Nicky Byrne and his beautiful wife Georgina could hardly keep their hands off each other as they left a London nightclub.

With her tiny denim skirt and see-through top, it's no wonder Nicky wants to keep a firm grip on his lovely lady.

The pair were joined at Panga nightspot by another star from the Emerald Isle, Samantha Mumba.

17 Sep 2004 >> E-gon missing
WESTLIFE nearly lost another band member before performing at the World Music Awards.
The worried lads were held up for more than ten minutes because KIAN EGAN had somehow got lost backstage.

Very SPINAL TAP.

A search party was launched to search the maze of corridors for the star. It transpired Kian had taken a wrong turning and was completely lost.

A source said: ¡§There was a bit of a panic after the other three lads went on and then realised Kian wasn¡¦t with them.

¡§Assistants were sent out and they found him wandering aimlessly around. He was very pleased to see them and was led back to the stage.¡¨

The lads went on to perform as a four piece in the European slot.

WESTLIFE¡¦s MARK FEEHILY wasn¡¦t heading straight to the card tables when he touched down in Las Vegas ¡V he hasn¡¦t a clue how to gamble. He sheepishly asked me: ¡§I¡¦m not sure how to play cards. Do they have snap?¡¨

17 Sep 2004 >> WESTLIFE HIT THE DECKS
Westlife cut a dash in their DJs as they get lucky in a Las Vegas casino.

The boys are in town for the World Music Awards and to shoot a video for their upcoming Rat Pack album. And we reckon they really look the part.

Over a game of blackjack the band - Kian Egan, 24, Shane Filan, 25, Nicky Byrne, 26, and Mark Feehily, 24 - boasted they were raking it in.

Kian, who has been out with the rest of the band enjoying Vegas to the full, told us: "I've been doing pretty well. I've won $200. Maybe I should quit while I'm ahead." And Mark joked: "Amazingly I've never gambled before. But I'm doing well, maybe I'm a natural."

The chart topping band met music mogul Clive Davis who said their rat pack idea was fantastic and would go a long way to helping them establish themselves in America.

The boys' performance at Wednesday night's ceremony drew ecstatic cheers from the likes of Usher and Alicia Keys.

This is one Brit band whose gamble on the States might just pay off...
