Westlife turned in to the beach boys as they enjoyed a sunshine break in Los Angeles. Keen surfer Kian Egan, 24, took the chance to show off his skills while the rest were happy paddling. The lads were taking time out ahead of their trip to Las Vegas for tomorrow's World Music Awards. Kian took along gorgeous girlfriend Jodi Albert, 21, while Shane Filan, 25, was accompanied by wife Gillian, 24, Nicky Byrne, 26 ,(Stoopid paper - he's not till Oct 9th!) his wife Georgina, 26 and fellow Westlifer Mark Feehily, 24, also joined in on the fun. During their trip to Vegas the lads will be filming the video for their next single, taken from their Sinatra inspired album Allow Us To Be Frank, due out in November. Hi Kian Here CONGRATS to Brian on his first solo hit in Ireland this week with Real To Me. Today is a big day for our pal. Later this afternoon he'll know if the song has hit the Number One spot in the UK. It was looking good during the week, so no doubt he's got the champagne on ice. It's an amazing start to Brian's solo career and we're all delighted for him. He may not be a member of Westlife these day, but he's still a best mate. (Read More ...) |

Ex-Westlife star Brian McFadden has gone straight to the top of the singles chart with his first solo release. Real To Me pushed Nelly's My Place/Flap Your Wings down to number two. McFly's new single, That Girl, could only manage a new entry at three. "I feel like Coventry City have won the FA Cup," the Sky Blues fan said after hearing the news. McFadden hit the top spot 12 times during his time with Westlife, before quitting the band in March this year. (Read More ...) |
