FORMER Westlife star Brian McFadden last night revealed he had a lucky escape when he smashed his 190mph Ferrari into a brick wall.

He skidded on a wet country road, swerving to avoid an animal, and did ?5,000 worth of damage.

He said: "I thought, 'I've had it'. I shouted 'Oh s**t!' then I was pushing an airbag out of my face."

Brian, who escaped with bruises and backache from the crash near his home in Port Marnoch, Ireland, said his wife, ex-Atomic Kitten Kerry Katona, was frantic.

He said: "When Kerry saw the car she was almost sick. I was mortified."

Brian said he went straight into the studio to write a song about it - Walking Disaster. His first solo single Real To Me is released on September 6.
