FANS of boy band Westlife were thrilled when they won VIP tickets to a secret gig by their pop heroes.

Among those attending were Laura Duckworth, 12, Caroline Kennedy, 14, Natalie Graham, 13, and Colette Duckworth, 13, all from Ayrshire. They are pictured with Shane Filan, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Nicky Byrne.
The girls won the tickets in a competition by Scottish Radio Holdings' regional stations, which gave 150 fans the chance to attend the gig, hosted by WestSound Radio.

The Irish heart-throbs flew in on Saturday especially for the occasion at the Highgrove House Hotel in Troon, Ayrshire.
It was one of six similar gigs across the country to mark the release of their new album of Sinatra covers, Allow Us To Be Frank.

Westlife, now a four-piece band after Brian McFadden quit to go solo, will play a series of dates at the SECC in Glasgow in the spring. FANS of boy band Westlife were thrilled when they won VIP tickets to a secret gig by their pop heroes.
