Westlife have announced that five extra dates will be added to the Point Theatre leg of their 'Red Carpet Tour' in February 2005.

The group will now play a total of ten concerts at the venue. The new dates of 15, 16, 18, 19 and 20 February will be added to the existing dates of 8, 9, 11, 12 and 13 February.

Over the past two years Westlife have become the biggest selling arena act in Europe.

The 'Red Carpet Tour' features material from their newly released Rat Pack album 'Allow Us To Be Frank', as well as a collection of the band's chart-topping hits from the last few years.

Tickets for the new dates, priced at £á39.50, will go on sale on Saturday 4 December from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide, with a maximum of six tickets per person allowed.
