FANS of boy band Westlife were thrilled when they won VIP tickets to a secret gig by their pop heroes.

Among those attending were Laura Duckworth, 12, Caroline Kennedy, 14, Natalie Graham, 13, and Colette Duckworth, 13, all from Ayrshire. They are pictured with Shane Filan, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Nicky Byrne.
The girls won the tickets in a competition by Scottish Radio Holdings' regional stations, which gave 150 fans the chance to attend the gig, hosted by WestSound Radio. (Read More ...)

Westlife have announced that five extra dates will be added to the Point Theatre leg of their 'Red Carpet Tour' in February 2005.

The group will now play a total of ten concerts at the venue. The new dates of 15, 16, 18, 19 and 20 February will be added to the existing dates of 8, 9, 11, 12 and 13 February.
