Rumours are rife today that pop singer Brian McFadden has already found a new love interest, a little over a week since his split from wife Kerry McFadden.

The former Westlife member has apparently been "pouring his heart out" to fellow popster Delta Goodrem in a series of late-night telephone calls.

"It¡¦s a difficult time for Brian. But he is managing," a friend of Aussie-born Delta told The Sun. "Delta says he calls her at all times of the day and night to talk things through. They have formed a really close friendship. He¡¦s so happy he met her. She¡¦s like a breath of fresh air and he feels he can talk through his problems with her."

Delta and Brian apparently became close after recording a duet together two months ago. The former Neighbours actor has sold a million albums in the UK and is due to make a comeback on October 21 with her new single 'Out Of The Blue'.
