31 Oct 2004 >> He's still Kian
LOOKS like singer KIAN EGAN isnˇ¦t too bothered his girlfriend was spotted bouncing up and down on another blokeˇ¦s lap last week.

The WESTLIFE star was chewing the face off girlfriend and Hollyoaks star JODI ALBERT as they went out for a romantic evening at Liverpoolˇ¦s Baby Cream bar. Just a few nightˇ¦s earlier ˇV at the National Television Awards ˇV she was happily jigging around on EastEnders actor JOE SWASHˇ¦s knee.

Kian is either very open-minded or knows she wonˇ¦t escape again with a lip-lock like his. (Read More ...)

Oct 24, 2004: Westlife win at Nordic Music Awards!!
Yesterday (Oct 23), Norway's capital Oslo got the honour of hosting the first ever Nordic Music Awards. The show, which was broadcasted live on telly in Norway, Sweden and Denmark from a fullpacked Oslo Spectrum, was loaded with stars from all over the world. I was there in person, and got to see Westlife live again, for the 8th time in my life. Westlife performed "Ain't That A Kick In The Head" live, but before their performance, they won an award. They were nominated in the category of "Best International Act" and faced tough competition from four other acts, being rap- and rock artists. But voters from the three countries decided that Westlife should win, and they therefore could crown themselves with the lush title, which was well-deserved.
After having received the award and having performed, they were being interviewed by the three show hosts (hosts from Norway, Denmark and Sweden). After the awards show, the Norwegian TV-station who had the main responsibility for the show, had invited the performers, the award winners and the award presenters to an aftershow party at a hotel downtown. Westlife were present at the party and had a great time, following reports from today's newspaper.
Westlife put on a brilliant and enjoyable performance, and we want to congratulate them with the well-earned award. Cheers!!!

23 Oct 2004 >> The sorry life
Every once in a while, a crime against culture is committed that is so heinous that all right-minded folk must speak out.

One such case is the new Westlife album, Allow us to be Frank, which features appalling cover versions of Sinatra classics.
Week Links supports the principle of freedom of expression.

But there are limits. BAN IT NOW.
